Main aim was to assess micro socio-economic challenges impeding honey production in Northern Uganda a forgotten region, through a three stage process assessment of beekeepers, their extension service system and market environment. Utilizing participatory approaches that would enable farmers identify their own challenges and suggest mechanisms for improvement. And reports of these later used as policy briefs to various actors to enable process improvement.
