It has been more than two weeks ago, but the 8th edition of the EurBee Congress of Apidology was more than successful. With 425 participants from 47 countries, the turnout was particularly high; bee researchers were coming to Ghent from everywhere. We look back at a conference with high quality scientific lectures and poster presentations in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. In addition, the weather was really good and so everyone could fully enjoy the walking lunches in the garden of HoGent and the social program with the exploration of the Ghent city center, first by boat, then on foot. In short, all the ingredients for exchanging ideas with colleagues, forging future plans and strengthening old and new friendships.
